With the emphasis on the prevention and control of air pollution by the country, at present, China's atmospheric environment monitoring technology mainly focuses on point-based monitoring methods, and has established an air quality monitoring network. However, for regional composite pollution monitoring, it requires fast and effective technical means to carry out regional and temporal monitoring.
The emergence and development of laser radar have changed the traditional method of atmospheric monitoring from point to line to surface, providing a new technical means for the study of atmospheric environment, overcoming many limitations of the traditional atmospheric environment research, and achieving large Spatial, long-time, multi-scale, multi-parameter remote sensing telemetry.
However, the traditional pulsed laser radar has the problems of high equipment cost and difficult maintenance. Recently, Prof. Mei Liang's task force of Dalian University of Technology successfully developed the spatio-temporal distribution of atmospheric particles, the identification of atmospheric particulates, the detection of NO2 concentration in the atmosphere, and the portable Saturn laser radar system. Five radars can be used to fully monitor Dalian. The air conditions in the urban areas enable the tracking of pollution sources and the dissemination of pollutants.
It is understood that Sagitar laser radar technology is a new technology in the field of atmospheric laser radar. Compared with traditional pulsed atmospheric laser radar technology, it has the advantages of low equipment cost, high cost performance and low maintenance, and its equipment cost is that of traditional equipment. 10% to 20%.
With people's attention to environmental air quality, particulate matter, especially PM2.5, has an important impact on human health and the atmosphere. Particle content is an important indicator of air quality detection. Efficient and accurate monitoring methods are used to solve current air pollution monitoring and supervision problems. It is of great significance.
Based on the broad application prospects of Saunders laser radar technology in the field of atmospheric environmental monitoring, in the future, Prof. Mei Liang's research group will further develop the multi-wavelength Sabouraud laser radar technology, and eventually realize the detection of particle size distribution at different altitudes in the vertical direction of the atmosphere. Atmospheric environment monitoring and scientific research provide strong technical support and promote the commercial application of Sabour laser radar.
