Previously, on December 22, 2009, India imposed anti-dumping duties on sodium nitrite originating in China. The base price of the product was US$ 617.42 per metric ton and the tax period was January 16, 2011.
According to statistics, in November 1999, India conducted an anti-dumping investigation against sodium nitrite produced in China; in November 2000, India made a definitive final ruling on the case. In November 2008, India conducted an anti-dumping mid-term review of sodium nitrite originating in China; in November 2009, India made a definitive final ruling on the case. On July 1, 2010, India launched an anti-dumping sunset review review of sodium nitrite produced in China.
